Three years before I was born a culinary visionary wrote a much maligned cookbook which sold but few copies before it went the way of all things. This man--Willie Fowler--was seen as a bit of a crank, had been a POW, and enjoyed his fishing and fowling a bit much.
Nevertheless, his book, having recently been discovered in a charity shop, has become a hit. I haven't seen a copy but if these three reviews are anything to go by Willie was my sort of man, and this book is my sort of cookbook.
